 Be watchful.
Lean down and scoop the water up with your hands. Be alert, do not be caught napping. for the enemy is on every hand and will seize those that do not keep their eyes on me. Do not look down, keep your eyes on me, for the days are difficult and dangerous. Indeed, difficulties and trials will increase but I am perfecting your faith. I ordain you to be watchful, careful servants. You will then be the ones that I send forth. For many do not keep their eyes on me; they will be angry at their brethren and disappointed in their God.              Martin Cooke.

 New things and old things.
There has been a desire to dig up the past and to recover old roots. Much has also been done in the spiritual, to recover the faith that was once lost. Just as the past has been resurrected and restored, so will the great moves of God be remembered and the question asked "Can these things be repeated again?" Indeed they will and they must. But it shall not be as in former times. For just as in the past the church often withstood the moves of God so shall it do today. But now there will be no prevention and loss as there was in the past, for the victory of the Cross shall be seen. Old foundations will shake and flee away. New dimensions to the love of God shall be discovered and no church will be able to withstand the expansion of the Kingdom of God.      Martin Cooke.

 The Wind of My Spirit.
There is a wind coming, a wind coming from the Almighty. It will be slow at first, and God's people will begin to sense the breeze. As it increases in intensity, the brethren will see things begin to lift and move that had seemed stable and fixed. When the full hurricane is come, no one will be able to stand. But you will then be in my presence, and all things will have fled away. You will then see things as I see them, and have the new heart that I have given you. Behold, I come quickly to reward every man according to all that has been abandoned for My sake.    Martin Cooke

Christians, are you another roadside casualty?
Maybe like the traveller, you have been beaten up by robbers and left for dead. but the Lord will come and do that which others have not done. He will restore you and tend to your wounds. He is patient with you and will not expect great things of you while you are healing. But soon you too will be strong enough to minister to the weary traveller, perhaps to those like you who have also been beaten by robbers. For those who you trusted have risen against you and humiliated you, but this will not be your end. It is a new beginning. So rise up now and be strong.      Martin Cooke
