What is new

I find the present situation for us is quite strange. Things have gone quite quiet, prayer has been subdued. If revival was at the door we should expect there to be earnest revival prayer. Despite the lack of prayer evangelism does seem to becoming more fruitful, with a less hard response to the gospel even if we do not see many saved. This more receptive response is mainly among the young.The problems with the church are still obvious; a lukewarm gospel, division and a spirit of control are some. Unless we present the true gospel with a passion we cannot expect the world to take us seriously.Two believers have remarked to me this Christmas that playing "Jingle Bells" is not going to get people saved.
